You're Invited to Connections

We want to invite you to a great opportunity to learn and grow in Christ at the intersection of spiritual formation and interpersonal neurobiology with Curt Thompson, MD—the Connections 2022 conference. We’re meeting locally in-person this year at McLean Presbyterian Church on Friday, October 28!

 

Have you ever wondered how your relationship with Jesus interacts with your mental health, your relationship challenges, or the stories of your past? You're not alone. At Connections 2022, you can join with the Center for Being Known (CBK) in exploring, alongside others, what it means to live the abundant life of the Creator. As the Gospel shines light on new developments in psychology, lives and relationships can be transformed.

 

As you may have learned from Curt’s books or talks, God is actively recreating Goodness and Beauty in all the areas of our lives. Attending Connections is a great opportunity for you to apply these lessons of Being Known individually and in your relationships within the Body of Christ. We are excited about the transformation God is already working in the lives of our CBK members, and the conference is a place where we can share in this grace together.

 

We are excited for a day of dynamic speakers, reflecting, and connecting with one another. In addition to gaining wisdom from the experience of Dr. Terry Wardle, Anne Halley, Sajan George, and Dr. Alison Cook, there is even more to look forward to: Registration for Connections also includes entry to a live recording of the Being Known podcast on Thursday evening, October 26th with Curt, Pepper Sweeney, and Amy Cella! Additionally, the conference day will provide opportunities to get away silently with God, to purchase books from our speakers, and to connect with members of our first cohort of Confessional Communities.
